RCA BLK Sir Frank Bowling Studio Visit

In April 2023, we had the pleasure of visiting Sir Frank Bowling's studio with a guided tour by his sons Ben and Sacha Bowling. His space was filled with Caribbean relics, in-process paintings, and we were taken across to an archive of his written contributions, and works that were kept from since his time at the RCA.

Students were invited to engage with the paintings and ask questions that were related to his practice. We want to thank the team for accommodating these visits and for providing insight into the invaluable contributions Sir Frank Bowling has given to Black British History and the art world at large.
